Happenings 2025

With people in so many parts of our world suffering in these times, Pope Leo reminds us that ‘If God can visit us, even when our hearts seem like a lowly manger, we can truly say: Hope is not dead; hope is alive and it embraces our lives forever. Hope does not disappoint!’ May this hope embrace you and your loved ones and be your joy at Christmas.

March

We were in need of some rain before Cyclone Alfred passed very close to us in early March, leaving us with some minor damage to trees, but with no power for five days.

August

We had a three day visit from our General, Fr Miguel Marquez Calle and his Definitor for this region, Fr Chris Surinono. The member of the Association Council travelled to Ormiston for the meeting. During that time we had a Zoom meeting with all the member momasteries in our region, from Hong Kong in the west to Samoa.
