In January we had a moving visit from our very dear friend Bishop Michael Putney, whom we had not seen since January 2013 just after he was diagnosed with cancer. During that interval he continued to exercise his pastoral ministry in his diocese with amazing fruitfulness, being an inspiration to countless people, in what was for him and the Australian Church truly a 'Year of Grace'. He continued his ministry until a few days before he died on 28 March. |
