God broke into our lives as a tiny baby in order to show His immense love for us. Our broken world has such great need of this love; “the Lord saves us by speaking to our hearts from his Sacred Heart,” as Pope Francis tells us. “Jesus is now waiting for you to give him the chance to bring light to your life, to raise you up and to fill you with his strength.”
It has been yet another busy year - much has been happening in our Community. Sister Matilda celebrated her Diamond Jubilee of Profession early in the year. In April Sr Moira represented our Association at a world-wide meeting of Carmelite nuns in Rome, called for by our Father General. There they had the joy of a private audience with Pope Francis, who met each Sister individually. ********************************************************In November nine Sisters from Carmels in our Association came for a Formators' Meeting. ***************************************************************** Sunday 13 OctoberSolemnity of St Teresa of AvilaMass 2.00 pm; Evening Prayer 3.45 pm *********************************************************** On 15 August Sister Stephanie received the Carmelite Habit.
